Black, white, and neon (pink, green, orange, blue and yellow). That was our color scheme. Not for everyone, but it perfectly captured the essence of who we are and the tone that we wanted.
We made it work through custom design of linens, favors and centerpieces. Napkins were rented from the venue, spandex chair bands were purchased from CV Linens and eFavor Mart, and spandex seat covers were rented from Rent My Wedding. We also had cocktail napkins printed from eFavor Mart.
All of our guests were asked to wear black and/or white. They were part of the decor, without really knowing it. This provided the unique, fun elegance we wanted without making it formal. (We asked guys not to wear ties.)

Our extremely talented friends made our wedding card box by hand. They were sure to incorporate all of our colors without seeing them. It was PERFECT.
Name cards were printed at Staples, but assembled by hand at home. We found the frames on Oriental Trading for a great price. They were a bit tricky to work with, but the result was pleasing! The marquee "B" and "J" came from Joann Fabrics. Pricey, but perfect.
Table numbers were made with small resin frames. They were all black or white with a color insert. They were purchased at Walgreens, believe it or not.
